istoric Ebbets Field was home to the Brooklyn Dodgers going back to 1912, when Dodgers’ owner, Charles Ebbets decided to name the ballpark after himself.

One of its most iconic features was its extravagant exterior, consisting of awnings and arches, Corinthian columns and a marble mosaic floor with a stitched baseball pattern.

On September 24, 1957 the Dodgers played their last game at Ebbets Field, a win against the Pittsburgh Pirates before decamping for Los Angeles.

Bringing History to Life

Demolition of Ebbets Field began on February 23, 1960. But, thanks to Ballparks of America the spirit of Ebbets is back.
